Campus Arts Initiative
The Campus Arts Initiative is funded by Penn State’s Strategic Planning Seed Grant program, which funds projects that further the university’s goals for impact and engagement. Campus Arts is closely linked to the strategic plan’s thematic priority of advancing the arts and humanities.
Understanding the Problem
Campus Arts is in the process of commissioning eight site-specific visual artworks for high-impact locations across the Commonwealth Campuses between 2019-2020. Following a nationally advertised call for artists. Along with the process, the campus arts initiative would like to have a platform that would allow campus students, faculties, stuff, or any art lovers to explore the art objects, get updated information for events and processes, and be able to contact them by the platform.
Solution
Design a website that will let users gather more information about art, artists, galleries which will also provide a way to contact the art initiative.
Roles and Responsibilities
Digital Content Designer, who worked as a hybrid designer for both UI/UX design and front-end development from conception to delivery, was responsible for branding, digital wireframing, and developing responsive web in WordPress system.
